The Provençal Market of Cadenet
Every Monday from 8am to 1pm, stroll through the streets of the village and on the Place du 4 Septembre to experience the Provençal market, smell the scents of soap, lavender, not to mention olives and tapenades!
The Olive Oil Mill Bastide du Laval
In the village of Cadenet, a few minutes walk from the hotel, discover the wonderful world of the olive tree, olive oil, the mill and its olive grove. You will then have the opportunity to taste olive oil and smell Provence while passing by the shop.
The ruins of the Castle of Cadenet
Built in the 11th century, it was dismantled by Louis XIV and then burned in 1792 by the revolutionaries. It was never restored, but major redevelopment work has been carried out on the site since 1990. You can visit this place full of history by discovering the cave dwellings and admire the magnificent panorama over the Durance valley.
The Basketry Museum
Cadenet was the cradle of basketry in the 19th and 20th centuries. You will be able to discover more than 1000 objects made of wicker or rattan, the tools and techniques used by basket makers and weavers.
The Cultural Centre La Laiterie
This cultural space is a centre of artistic life that offers exhibitions of paintings, sculptures and photos all year round.
Markets in the surrounding areas
Many Provençal or farmers' markets are organized all year round. On Tuesday you can visit the Cucuron market, on Saturday, those of Villelaure and Lauris. The Provençal market of Lourmarin is also worth a visit. It takes place on Fridays from 8am to 1pm and the craft market on Sundays from 10am to 7pm. A little further away but which is very well known: the market of Isle sur la Sorgue, on Sunday mornings. One of the most popular markets in France, organised on the quays, in the city centre and on the market square.
The Perched Villages
Lourmarin, Ansouis, two villages classified among the most beautiful villages in France, Lauris and its gardens, Cucuron, Bonnieux, Ménerbes, etc... Each village is unique and reveals exceptional panoramas.
The Wine Route
The Luberon is also known for its Controlled Designation of Origin Luberon born in 1988. The appellation, which produces 3 colours of wine (red, rosé and white) groups together 52 independent cellars and 10 cooperative cellars. You will be able to visit many properties, from the most famous such as La Cavale or Château Vol Joanis to the most family oriented. In Cadenet, you can visit Louerion.

The ochres of Roussillon and the Provençal Colorado in Rustrel will offer you breathtaking landscapes!

Visit of Aix-en-Provence
Aix-en-Provence is located only 30 minutes by car from the hotel. You can stroll through the typical alleys of this Provençal town, which is also very popular for its entertainment and its many shops.
Visit of Marseille
The capital of the country Provence is only 1 hour's drive from our hotel (65km). You can visit Notre-Dame de la Garde, the new Docks, the Old Port, the Corniche and even the creeks!
Visit of Avignon
We are located less than an hour's drive from Avignon (65km) where you can easily spend the day. Many visits are to be expected such as the discovery of the Popes' City.

Perched between Pertuis and Lourmarin, Cadenet offers a panoramic view of the Durance, the Luberon Sainte-Victoire and the Alpilles.
Cadenet experienced prosperity in the first half of the 19th century based on the development of crafts. Many basket-making workshops were set up, working with wicker cultivated in the Durance valley.
The essentials of Cadenet:
