The Provençal Market of Cadenet
Every Monday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., stroll through the village streets and Place du 4 Septembre to experience the Provencal market and smell the scents of soap, lavender, olives and tapenades!
The Olive Oil Mill Bastide du Laval
In the village of Cadenet, a few minutes walk from the hotel, discover the wonderful world of the olive tree, olive oil, the mill and its olive grove. You will then have the opportunity to taste olive oil and smell Provence while passing by the shop.
The ruins of the Castle of Cadenet
Built in the XIᵉ century, it was dismantled by Louis XIV and then burnt down in 1792 by revolutionaries.
It was never restored, but major redevelopment work has been carried out on the site since 1990.
You can visit this historic site, discover the troglodyte dwellings and admire the magnificent panorama over the Durance valley.
The Basketry Museum
Cadenet was the cradle of basket-making in the 19th and 20th centuries. You can discover more than 1,000 objects made from wicker or rattan, and the tools and techniques used by basket-makers and basket-makers.
The Cultural Centre La Laiterie
This cultural space is a centre of artistic life that offers exhibitions of paintings, sculptures and photos all year round.
Markets in the surrounding areas
Numerous Provencal and farmers' markets are held throughout the year.
On Tuesdays, you can visit the Cucuron market, and on Saturdays, those of Villelaure and Lauris.
The Provencal market in Lourmarin is also well worth a visit. It takes place on Fridays from 8am to 1pm, and the craft market on Sundays from 10am to 7pm. A little further afield, but a very well-known market: the Isle sur la Sorgue market on Sunday mornings.
One of the busiest markets in France, it takes place on the quays, in the town center and on the market square.
The Perched Villages
Lourmarin, Ansouis, two of France's most beautiful villages, Lauris and its gardens, Cucuron, Bonnieux, Ménerbes, etc.
Each village is unique and offers exceptional panoramas.
The Wine Route
The regional nature park of Luberon is also known for its appellation d'Origine Contrôlée Luberon, created in 1988. The appellation, which produces 3 colors of wine (red, rosé and white) includes 52 independent wineries,
10 cooperative wineries.
You can visit a wide range of estates, from the best-known such as La Cavale and Château Vol Joanis to the more family-run. Visit the Louerion cellar at Cadenet.
Panorama
The ochres of Roussillon and the Colorado Provençal at Rustrel offer breathtaking scenery!
Aquatic Activities
For children, there are plenty of activities to keep them and their parents happy! There are plenty of lakes and ponds nearby, as well as accrobranche parks and the SPLASHWORLD water theme park Provence.
Visit of Aix-en-Provence
Aix-en-Provence is just a 30-minute drive from the hotel. Take a stroll through the typical narrow streets of this Provencal town, also popular for its entertainment and numerous boutiques.
Visit of Marseille
The capital of Provence is only 1 hour's drive from our hotel (65km). You can visit Notre-Dame de la Garde, the new Docks, the Old Port, the Corniche and even the Calanques!
Visit of Avignon
We are located less than an hour's drive from Avignon (65km) where you can easily spend the day. Many visits are to be expected such as the discovery of the Popes' City.

Perched between Pertuis and Lourmarin, Cadenet offers a panoramic view of the Durance, the Luberon Sainte-Victoire and the Alpilles.
Cadenet prospered in the first half of the XIXᵉ century, based on the development of the craft industry. Numerous basket-making workshops were set up, working with the wicker grown in the Durance valley.
The essentials of Cadenet:

- the site of the castle, with its troglodyte habitats and its panoramic view of the Durance valley,
